Reduced fee: Reduced fee due date has been extended to September 30, 2011
Late submissions: COLA 2011 is now accepting late submissions. Notice that late submissions will be allocated as poster presentations, since in the tradition of COLA, we have again managed to avoid parallel sessions. All contributing papers will be eligible for publication in the corresponding special issue of Applied Physics A: Materials Science & Processing (Springer)following the standard refereeing procedure of the journal.

COLA 2011 will focus both on the fundamentals of laser - materials interactions and their forefront applications in pulsed laser deposition, ablation, analytical methods, industrial processes, biology, materials, and micro/nano processing.
Deadlines (still subject to small changes):
Abstracts: The electronic submission will be open from February 28 to May 20, 2011
Acceptance of abstract: Communication on the acceptance will be sent electronically no later than June 30, 2011
Conference registration: Conference Registration will open June 17, 2011.
Reduced fee: Reduced fee will apply for registrations confirmed until September 16, 2011
